Software Timeline

I received a message from Houston Neal who is working on a timeline of the development of manufacturing and ERP software. He's looking for input. I looked at what he has done so far and it brought back a lot of memories. I lived through an MRP implementation (I say as I date myself). Here's his request:

I am working on a "wiki" timeline that covers the history of manufacturing & ERP software. The timeline includes 17 key events that have shaped the ERP software industry over the last 50 years. It's a quick way to understand the context of current enterprise software events. I want to grow this to 35+ events and dates with the help of industry professionals.

So, if you want to help him, visit the site and give him a shout.
